Dear Alliance Members and supporters:
 
    We are now planning to publish a series of newsletter style advertisements on the Roll Call newspaper which circulates mainly in the offices of the Capitol Hill, the White House, and the State Department.
 
    Our plan is to:
 
(1) Publish the result of the recount. For example we want to expose the many fraudulent practices used by DPP people to manipulate the ballots. We will show that there are over 300,000 disputable ballots when the margin of victory is now only 21,000 votes. It will be self evident that the election is rigged. We want to send a message to the American Congress and judges in Taiwan that they need to display courage and integrity to render the only logical verdict -- the 320 Presidential Election is invalid and Chen Shui-bian is not a legal president! We want a new election.
 
(2) Publish the various civil rights violations in Taiwan. For example, the boycott of Jackie Chan and his movie just because he gave a negative comment about the election. Ms. Chiang Shia, the newly appointed Chairman of the China Television Corp. openly stated that she would not allow pan-blue performers to be on CTC shows, etc. The threat from Chen Shui-bian's lackeys to cancel the license of China Broadcasting Corp. is another example of political interference of the right of the media. We need to remind the American Government what kind of Taiwanese Government they are dealing with. We will be collecting data from the Democratic Action Alliance (DAA) of Taiwan. DAA is monitoring the speeches and actions of political figures of DPP Government.
 
(3) The well-liked TV hostess, Ms. Chen Wen-Chin, is coming to visit the Truth Alliance in August. She will bring the latest investigation result of the 319 gun shot event. We may need to put her data on the newspaper for American Congress to review.
 
    We would like to publish one advertisement per quarter, maybe more frequently during August because the judicial court is making a decision in September on the recount.
 
    In order for us to begin this series of advertisements, we need your support and donations. The ad on Roll Call is going to be about $5,500 per half page, and $8,500 for full page.
